Why we do what we do.

Hi there! I’m Sarah.

I’m the Founder of Gatherwell Studio. My earliest design days are marked by an old desktop and a bookmarked folder full of the best design blogs. My happiest introvert Fridays were spent scrolling + absorbing all the design I could.

After university, I spent a few years in Asia, and there I was surrounded by the best of design. Cafe concepts. Speciality stores. Bars. Art installations. It changed me, and international design continues to inspire my work today.

Fast forward 2 decades later: design is the through-line of my career. I’ve shaped product experiences for small brands, co-created vibrant kids’ ministry spaces, and branded office spaces. I’ve imagined and executed interactive conference exhibits and nonprofit galas, major-donor retreats, and all the events in between.

I believe the magic happens when strategy, human-centered design, and hospitality align.
